To place a Wastewater Lateral:

1. In the Command Manager, select Lateral Pipe from the Wastewater Lines group.
2. Click on the Place Feature Icon or double-click on the selected feature to start the placement command.
3. Click on the Line Segment Mode Icon in the Placement Dialog.
4. Change the default property values as necessary in the Placement Form.
5. Click on a start location to place the Lateral Pipe. This should typically be a Wastewater Lateral Connection Point to maintain a connectivity relationship with the network.
6. Place more data points to add vertices to the new feature instance
7. Right-Click (Reset) to stop the placement at the last vertex location.
8. Click at a location to place Annotation Text.
